2 Kings
After their religious and political zenith under King David and his son, Solomon, the books of 1st and 2nd Kings describe Israel’s steady decline. As we continue our chapter-by-chapter exposition of the Old Testament, we’ve reached 2nd Kings, a book of history, theology, prophecy, and warnings to the people of God that resonate to this very day. This study occurred from June 3, 2015 until Feb 20, 2017 because, along the way, we ventured into the various prophets who appeared in Israel’s history during the time span of 2Kings.
