1 Samuel
As we continue our exposition of the Old Testament, we’ve reached the transition from the times of the judges to the era of the prophets. 1 Samuel introduces us to such notables as the prophet Samuel, Israel’s first king, Saul, and their greatest king, David. Another covenant is revealed and the lineage of Christ is determined. It’s a record of great history and vital theology. We began this study on March 14, 2012 and wrapped it up July 25 of the same year.
